On the Webpage of Coggames (the group, which wants to invent the 3rd edition of the Mutant Chronicles RPG) I found an interesting "poll of the week":

Which one is your favorite Corporation?
Bauhaus26%
Brotherhood16%
Capitol9%
Cartel0%
Cybertronics13%
Imperial26%
Mishima8%

Well, as you all can see, Capitol is (just 1% before Mishima) the least attractive corporation to the players. Why is this so?
Capitol is the most liberal corporation with the most (in-game) freedom (also for the chars). So, according to the picture of the average gamer, normally all backgrounds which are highly restrictive and set the gamers in quite oppressive social systems, are disliked and all systems where you have biggest possibilities of choice and where all PCs can meet other PCs or NPCs at the same eye level, are favoured. So - why does nobody want to play Capitol?

PS: Dont misinterpret the bad value of Mishima. This is because at this poll there was only a one-choice-possibility; would it have been possible to give several answers, than Mishima would have been at rank 3 or 4 (as you can read in the different posts, most of the Bauhaus-players do like Mishima as well).

personnaly, on my 20 regulars or ex regulars players, most of them prefer Imperial or Bauhaus, and very few Capitol.

But, I've started an open Capitolian table since 2 years, and players changed their point of view.

Capitol is profit, opportunities, liberties and a very different game style. I've developped new units, incorporated WZ back ground, developped political, structural and economical aspects ( like banks, stock exchanges, directories, directors, political campaigns ) for an true Dallas like dynastic campaign, or CAPITOL RANGERS like old Texas ones with our friend "Chucky" Norris Smiley Smiley Smiley or else PSS for an amazing campaign between batman, men in black, X files, 24H or NCIS ( i've always loved cross over style :p )

IMHO, after 10 years of GM experience, Capitol is one of the most playable corp, and indeed, the most valuable to GM about games opportunities and devlopments, even my favorite one's is Bauhaus Wink
